The golden apples of Greek mythology

A golden apple destined for ‘the most beautiful’ caused a war, while another three led to a marriage – yes indeedy this is food of the Greek Gods, people.

I’m not sure who this fellow could be that I’ve drawn, perhaps it’s Hercules during his 11th labour, relieved to have finally claimed a golden apple from the garden of Hesperides,  after a boatload of trouble leading to it.

The thunderbolt could be from Zeus getting aggy, since the apples came from his personal garden without permission, the cheek! ⚡ ⚡
